About Me

Hello

My name is Megan or Meg (whichever is totally fine) and I am currently 18 years old. I studied Beauty Therapy at college as I have a huge passion for the area, but I didn't want to restrict myself to just makeup (which I'm totally obsessed with). I really enjoyed my course, however it was alot harder than I thought it would be - It's not just painting nails like lots of people assume. With that aside I came out of college with a Double Distinction which is such a big achievement of mine.

I'm one of those teenagers/people who never knew what I wanted from life or what I wanted to pursue as a career. I knew for a fact that university just wasn't for me as loads of coursework in general, and the pressure isn't the type of person that I am. I decided to not do A Levels and instead train in a profession that I am passionate about.

Even during college I didn't know what I would do, until a presentation from a company called Steiner came to my college. They told everyone about working as a beauty/massage therapist on board a cruise ship and I knew instantly that I wanted to do that. I set myself a goal to complete at
least one contract and I'm half way there.

I have applied, done the interview, got a place and completed training. As I'm typing this it is the 10th November and I have only just recently got my details. I will be flying to Texas and joining my ship on the 17th November, which is the Carnival Triumph. I am super excited to start my adventure see some of the world and earn some dollars. I say 'some' of the world as my ship, from what I've found, only travels around the whole Caribbean, Mexico and then Texas. I'm definitely not complaining about this as this is part of the world I only dreamed I would visit.



I'm writing my blog at the moment to give people advice on working and training with the company and some tips as well. I plan to write about life on the ship when I get back and then go down a more beauty and fashion route with my blog.

Few Facts About Me:

1. I have 2 adorable dogs - A Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Penny and a tiny Jack Russell   called Scooby.
2. I have moved house 14 times - I have no idea why.
3. I'm 5"8
4. I currently have a boyfriend called Jamie
5. I have 9 drawers of makeup - and I just keep wanting more.
6. I live in the South East of England.
7. I have been best friends with my best friend (obviously) for just over 10 years now.
8. I'm a makeup wipe girl.
9. I used to work for Next for just over 2 years.
10. I love making lists.
11. I am obsessed with bloggers and youtubers.
12. I'm a vegetarian - have been for nearly 2 years now.
13. My birthday is on the 4th Februray.
14. I'm a Samsung girl not iPhone.
15. I never stop talking.
